Treasure Valley Community College will host its annual ‘trunk or treat’ from 5-8PM during the Great Downtown Pumpkin Festival! Kids can trick or treat, then pet animals in the petting zoo, play games, enter the costume contest and participate in more free activities! Admission is free.

Drop off your carved pumpkin by 3PM to be entered into pumpkin carving contest! 2 categories: Kids (aged 13 and under) and Adults (aged 13 and over) Kids prizes: 1st place Unlimited Ice Skating in January & February, 2nd Place 10-Pack Skate Pass, 3rd Place 4 Ice Skating Passes. Adult Cash Prizes: 1st place- $75, 2nd place $50, 3rd place $25. Entry fee is free for kids under 13 and $5 for 14 and older. Winner announced at 4:30PM.

So your pumpkin growing didn’t go as you envisioned. It’s not smooth, or round, or good for anything ... until now! Bring that ugly thing to Indian Creek Plaza for our ugliest pumpkin contest. Entry is free, registration day of the event. Ugliest pumpkin is voted by the public. The prize is a 10-Pack Ice Skating Pass!

Enter that giant pumpkin you grew into the Downtown Pumpkin Festival Pumpkin Weigh-Off! Weigh-off Entry Fee is $10 per pumpkin. Pumpkin must be grown & cared for by the person entering it. Weight will be the only deciding factor for judging. Any color pumpkin can be entered. All pumpkins entered must remain on the plaza until the event closes at 5pm and picked up by 8pm. Pre-Registration required for drop-off information, deadline Thursday, October 17 at midnight. Prize is a fire pit party at the Indian Creek Plaza Ice Ribbon worth $300!
