Indian Creek Plaza serves the Caldwell community and its guests. To host a social, educational, or community event, groups must get written approval in advance. Space is reserved based on staff availability and the plaza’s schedule.

All events must be approved at least 30 days ahead and require full payment, insurance, and a signed contract. We reserve the right to decline events that don’t align with our mission.

    • 1,500 sq. ft. stage

    • Additional space available for Plaza extension (Arthur Street)

    • Distributed sound system for background music and announcements (bands, DJs or live entertainment to bring their own sound systems)

    • Three gas firepits (one available for private rental in winter season)

    • Bar service available with beer, wine, canned cocktails, soda and water (at additional cost)

  • 2-Hour Rental (additional cost to extend hours)

    • Use of plaza space and stage

    • Stage includes tables with seating (50-60 people), bar with seating overlooking the ice ribbon, outdoor heating, festive holiday décor and the option for bar service ($250 minimum)

    • Exclusive access to fire pit areas

    • Ice skate rentals and access to ice ribbon (maximum 180 skaters at a time)

    • Pricing: 2 Hour $2500 | Additional Hour $1,000

  • 2-Hour Rental (additional cost to extend hours)

    • Use of plaza stage with seating (seats 50-60)

    • Stage includes seating overlooking the ice ribbon, outdoor heating, festive holiday décor and the option for bar service ($250 minimum)

  • 4 or 8 hour rental

    • Use of plaza space and stage

    • Wooden tables that seat 8 on benches (including umbrellas based on event view areas and weather)

    • Metal tables with chairs that seat 4

    • Various additional plaza furniture

    • Seating for at least 170

    • Power outlets

    • Stage access

    • Access to PA/Microphone for announcements

    • Garbage receptacles

    • Option for bar service ($250 minimum)

    • Pricing: 4 Hours $1,000 | 8 Hours $2000

    • For community or group events that require limited space, would enhance the Plaza experience for guests and does not exclude the public, please contact events@destniantioncaldwell.com

    • No sidewalk chalk

    • No wheels (skateboards, bicycles, rollerblades, scooters, etc.)

    • No smoking or vaping permitted on the Plaza

    • Only alcohol purchased at the Plaza Bar can be consumed at the Plaza

    • No glass on the Plaza

    • No blocking of business access

    • Service animals only

    • All ADA access must be kept clear

    • All fire lane access must be kept clear

    • Catering must be approved in advance, concrete must be protected and kept clean

    • No food trucks or vendors without prior approval. (May require permits and Southwest District Health application may be required.)

    • Portable barbecues are not permitted

    • Inflatables are not permitted without prior written approval

    • All tents must be weighted properly at all times (20lbs on each canopy leg)

    • No running allowed on the plaza

    • Summer - Splash pads can be turned on or off (only available for full Plaza rental)

    • Follow city noise ordinance (quiet after 11 PM on weekdays, 1 AM Friday & Saturday)

    • Renting party must clean up and leave the plaza as you found it

    • No explicit music, obscene images or products. Destination Caldwell and Indian Creek Plaza is a public, family friendly outdoor venue

    • Destination Caldwell as a 501 ( c )(3) does not support nor oppose any political campaign. Therefore, DC will not be accepting any political campaign-based events at Indian Creek Plaza

    • Guidelines may change at the discretion of Plaza staff

  • Large tables with seating for 8 can be reserved for select Signature events, Tuesday’s on the Creek and community performances

  • Reservations must be submitted 48 hours in advance

  • Tables are limited on a first come first serve basis

  • Table reservations are non-refundable

  • Pricing: $80 per table (seating for eight)

MEETINGS ON THE PLAZA

A group of persons gathering on the Plaza in the form of a study group, meeting, lunch, or other small informal event are welcome to use the space at their leisure without rental fees. Indian Creek Plaza may ask any party to vacate the premises as deemed fit. Groups of larger than 20 people are asked to notify staff as a courtesy to ensure a great experience.
