TYLOR & THE TRAIN ROBBERS
Kissin 92.3 presents the Indian Creek Summer Concert Series, a FREE weekly event featuring good music and good company.
Born and raised in Helix, Oregon, singer/songwriter Tylor Ketchum started playing music at an early age. Fueled by musical influences within his family, he formed The Bushman Brothers Band with his younger siblings and began performing at local venues and events. Determined to further his career, Tylor left home and headed to Idaho in search of a broader music scene.
While establishing himself as a solo performer and becoming immersed in the Idaho music community, he decided to form the band that has evolved into Tylor and the Train Robbers. The name inspired by his late relative, the infamous, train-robbing, Black Jack Ketchum.
Tylor carefully selected musicians he knew would help him achieve the sound he was looking for. He called on his younger brother, Jason Bushman to join him in Idaho and continue their musical journey together. With Jason playing bass and singing backup vocals they created a core molded around sibling harmony. Helping hold down the rhythm fort is their dynamic drummer, Flip Perkins. Rounding out the band’s sound is Johnny “Shoes” Pisano who brings his signature tele tone to the stage. With this strong line up in place, Tylor & the Train Robbers have created a unique blend of gritty americana and outlaw honky tonk that has struck a chord within Northwest music scene.
