A NOTE REGARDING COVID-19
Indian Creek Plaza is owned by the City of Caldwell and managed by Destination Caldwell, a non-profit organization promoting economic development. Destination Caldwell has worked closely with Southwest District Health and the City of Caldwell to create policies and procedures to keep our community safe and healthy during our events and ice skating season.
INDIAN CREEK ICE SKATING SEASON 2020-21 COVID-19 STRATEGIC PLAN
November 14, 2020 – February 13, 2021
Staff or volunteers will be at the ice skating rink entrance controlling the count and limiting skaters to 150 total people at a time. These numbers are per guidelines from Southwest Health District allowing 64 sq. ft. per person.
The stage capacity for the public will be 40 people at a time during public sessions.
Hand-sanitizing stations will be provided.
Railing on the ice ribbon will be sanitized between sessions.
Masks, gators, scarves, and gloves are recommended for patrons.
Messaging reminding patrons about social distancing, washing hands, and wearing a mask will be posted around the ice ribbon.
Signage at the entrance(s) stating not to enter if attendee(s) have any signs of illness or any underlying conditions that may increase the risk of serious complications.
Health Alert Level for situational awareness will be posted at the entrances.
Staff and volunteer pre-shift health check to help screen for COVID-19 and other conditions.

Skate sanitizing after each use
CDC social distance message recordings will be played intermittently over the PA system
Destination Caldwell and its staff may implement additional sanitation and distancing policies as needed.
