IDAHO HERITAGE FESTIVAL

Indian Creek Plaza comes alive with the Idaho Heritage Festival, showcasing the diverse cultures of Idaho. Participate in dozens of hands-on activities where you might learn about traditional uses of buffalo, try a Mexican Folklorico dance, learn Basque vocabulary words, listen to multi-cultural stories, and play traditional instruments. Then sit back and enjoy performances from talented dancers and musicians showcasing their artistic traditions. Make sure to visit the food trucks and vendor booths, showcasing diverse craft and food. This event is free and will have activities available for all members of the family. Presented by Caldwell Fine Arts, Destination Caldwell, and Rediscovered Books.

Heritage Activity Booths (8 available)

Showcase an aspect of your culture! Each booth needs to have a hands-on activity or demonstration for the public to participate in. For example: matching a vocabulary card with items on display, watching a demonstration of a traditional craft, trying on traditional clothing, learning a dance step, playing an instrument, showing traditional cooking methods, posing with photo props, etc. Caldwell Fine Arts has eight 10x10 booth spaces available for no charge for those who would like to set up a heritage activity booth. Table, chairs, and canopy will be provided. These will be selected to represent a variety of cultures. These booths may not sell items but may have promotional materials available. Vendor Booths

These will be selected by Indian Creek Plaza as space is available. Register for booths through https://www.indiancreekplaza.com/be-a-vendor10x10 space $60. Table and canopy rental is extra and is coordinated through Indian Creek Plaza. . Booths can sell items, crafts, and art, but we request that each booth has cultural relevance to fit with the theme of the event. 

 

Food 

Register for booths through https://www.indiancreekplaza.com/be-a-vendor.  We request that foods represent the cultures that are part of Idaho’s multi-cultural heritage. Food Trucks $200 - Hot & Ready / Prepared on-site 10x10 booth space $100
